Six signs your website needs a redesign
If you recognise two or more of these, your website is quietly costing you customers every week.
It breaks on a phone
Pinch-to-zoom, tiny buttons, text running off the screen. Over 60% of your visitors are on mobile — a site that fights them loses them.
It loads slowly
If it takes more than three seconds, half your visitors are gone before they see anything. Slow sites also rank lower on Google.
Nobody enquires
Traffic but no leads usually means an unclear path to contact you — buried buttons, no obvious next step, too many dead ends.
It looks dated
A site that looks like 2015 quietly tells customers your business is behind the times — even when you do brilliant work.
It’s invisible on Google
No proper page structure, no schema, no local SEO. Search engines can’t tell who you are or where you work.
You can’t update it
If changing a phone number means emailing your old developer and waiting a week, the site is working against you.
What changes in a redesign
The same business — shown the way it deserves.
A redesign keeps what you’ve earned
The biggest fear with a redesign is losing your Google rankings. We make sure you don’t.
- Your domain and email — nothing moves that you don’t want moved
- Your Google rankings — we redirect every old URL so you don’t lose positions
- Your content — we migrate the words and images worth keeping
- Your brand — refined and modernised, not replaced
How a redesign works
A careful, fixed process — your site stays live until the new one is ready.
Audit & plan
We review your current site, rankings and analytics to keep what works and fix what doesn’t — no throwing away your hard-won Google positions.
Redesign
We design the new pages around your customers’ journey and your brand, and you sign them off before any code is written.
Rebuild fast
We rebuild on a fast, modern stack, migrate your content, set up redirects so you keep your SEO, and test on real devices.
Launch & support
We launch carefully, monitor for issues, and stay on hand for 30 days. Your rankings carry over; your enquiries go up.

Website redesign FAQs
The questions we hear most before a redesign.
Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?
Not if it’s done properly — that’s the single biggest risk in a redesign and the thing we’re most careful about. We map every old URL to its new one with 301 redirects, keep your page structure and content intact, and preserve your schema. Done right, rankings hold and usually improve because the new site is faster and cleaner.
How much does a website redesign cost in the UK?
Our redesigns start at a fixed £1,500 for a typical small-business site (around five pages), live in 2-4 weeks. Larger sites with more pages or e-commerce step up from there. There’s no hourly billing and no surprise extras — you get the price and the launch date before we start.

Most small-business redesigns go live in 2-4 weeks. The pace depends mainly on how quickly you can review designs and get us any new content — we move as fast as you do.
Can you keep my existing content and just modernise the design?
Absolutely. A redesign doesn’t have to mean starting from scratch. We can keep your wording, photos and structure where they work, and focus the effort on speed, mobile experience, clearer calls-to-action and a fresh look.
Do I have to move my domain or hosting?
No. We work with your existing domain, and you choose where it’s hosted. We offer fast managed hosting from £30/month if you’d like us to handle it, but there’s no obligation.
What if I’m on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace?
We redesign sites built on all of them. We’ll advise honestly whether it’s best to modernise on your current platform or rebuild on a faster one like Next.js — based on your needs, not ours.
Will I be able to update the new site myself?
Yes. We build with a friendly content setup and give you a short walkthrough, so changing text, swapping images or adding a page doesn’t mean waiting on a developer.
