The local partnership
The website was the beginning.
Chester Property & Garden Maintenance needed a professional online presence and a practical way to reach nearby customers. We built the website, service pages, project galleries and instant-quote enquiry journey, then connected the marketing around them.
One connected service, with a local conversation behind it.
The ongoing work brings together website design, local SEO, Google Ads, keyword research, video content, offers and measurement. Direct communication with Martin’s team helps us understand the jobs they want, what customers are asking and when priorities need to change.
AI-assisted research helps us explore the data. Decisions still need context, sensible controls and client input. Being based in Chester makes it easier to have those practical conversations and keep the work connected.
September 2026 · seasonal campaign review
Promote the service people need now.
Autumn brings different priorities for a property-maintenance business. Our September review brought historical local search estimates together with recent advertising results, landing-page checks and the team’s experience on the ground.
Gutter-cleaning priority
The 19 September review led to more of the existing search budget being allocated to gutter cleaning, without increasing the total daily account budget. Selected bids were reviewed against conversion history and lost visibility—not raised across the board.
A relevant destination
Gutter-cleaning searches were checked against the relevant service and town pages. Price, offer wording, mobile contact options and the enquiry form were reviewed together, rather than treating the ad click as the end of the job.
Content for the same need
We produced gutter-cleaning and hedge-trimming video content for the client’s marketing. The published examples below show the creative work; they do not by themselves prove extra bookings or revenue.
Historical keyword estimates help identify seasonal patterns. We check them against recent account data and the client’s priorities before making changes.

Water pouring over your gutters when it rains? That's autumn leaves, and it's about to get expensive. That water soaks into your walls, then winter freezes it, and the weight of the ice can pull gutters clean off.
A clear-out now is from £75. [Music] Damp repairs can run into thousands. Chester Property and Garden Maintenance vacuum your gutters from the ground.
[Music] Downpipes checked, no mess. Five stars on Google. Send us a photo for a free quote.

Hedge got out of hand this summer? The birds have finished nesting, so now's the right time to cut it back.
Chester Property & Garden Maintenance trim, shape and reduce hedges. Long-reach kit from the ground and every clipping cleared away, like this 35-metre laurel.

About this advert: This is the wording of the September 2026 advert, not a current quotation. Its seasonal line does not establish that any particular hedge is free of nesting birds. Site conditions, wildlife and suitability need checking before work; the client confirms the price.

How the work stays connected
Research. Agree. Deliver. Review.
We review the available data on an ongoing basis and make the changes it supports. A website launch or campaign setup is a starting point, not the finish line.
01
Research the demand
Review local keyword estimates, actual search terms, seasonality and the services the team wants to promote.
02
Agree the priorities
Combine the data with Martin’s knowledge of local jobs, availability and which enquiries are useful to the business.
03
Connect the campaign
Bring the search ad, service page, offer and video message into line, so the visitor finds what they came for.
04
Measure and refine
Review the available results, make focused changes, and check the effect. Keep a record rather than assuming every change helped.
Measure the journey, not just the click
Where measurement and consent allow, we compare search terms and campaign costs with engagement, page journeys, contact-button interactions and submitted enquiries. The client’s feedback helps distinguish useful leads from activity that only looks good in a report.
Those findings inform changes to page wording, contact options and form placement. Engagement time is a diagnostic signal—not proof of purchase intent—and analytics cannot identify every visitor or capture every action.
Choose bidding to fit the evidence
Maximise Conversions is not automatically right or wrong. We review the goal, conversion quality, search intent, budget and the reasons an ad is missing auctions before deciding what to change.
Professional management means testing and explaining those choices—not promising that an agency will always be cheaper, or that a single setting can solve every account.
What does Hand On Web do for Chester Property & Garden Maintenance?
We built the website and support its ongoing marketing: local search work, Google Ads management, keyword research, seasonal offers, short-form video content and measurement. We work with the Chester team to keep the website and campaigns aligned with the services they want to promote.
How do you adapt marketing to seasonal demand?
We compare historical local keyword estimates with recent search terms, advertising results and the client’s priorities. In September 2026, our review led to more of the existing search budget being allocated to gutter cleaning, alongside seasonal video content and service-specific landing pages. This is a documented decision, not proof that searches doubled or a guarantee of future results.
Is Maximise Conversions always the wrong bidding strategy?
No. The right strategy depends on the business goal, budget and reliability of the conversion data. We review search intent, conversion actions, costs and whether ads are limited by budget or rank before recommending changes. No bidding strategy or agency can guarantee lower costs or more sales.
What do the CPAGM launch results show?
For 15–20 June 2026, Google Ads recorded 159 clicks from 793 impressions and six conversion actions. That is a 20.1% click-through rate. These are historical account-level figures, not current performance, six confirmed jobs or a revenue claim. This public snapshot does not disclose the client’s budget or bidding figures.
Do you keep improving the website after launch?
Yes. Ongoing reviews connect search and advertising data with consented website analytics and the client’s feedback. We use the available evidence to decide whether to refine keywords, bidding, offers, page wording or the enquiry journey, then review the effect. Analytics does not identify every visitor or record every action.
